Really nice, solid design, and provides double the storage possible for an internal hard drive for the PS4. I’ve got a 2tb hard drive inside the PS4, and this excellent 4tb external hard drive. As with all hard drives, the way GB are calculated means that 2tb amounts to 1.7 tb in actual storage, and 4tb amounts to about 3.5 GB of actual storage.

Officially licensed? not at all.. it is waste of money
I bought this hard drive for my PS4 after reading that it is officially licensed to PS4, and it stopped working in just 24 hrs of use!!!, it stopped recognising by PS4 as external storage because somehow it started showing capacity on this drive as 144115.2 TB, what a joke!!, see attached photo, I would not recommend this to anyone if some is thinking it is officially licensed for PS4 system and go to buy, it is rubbish.** its been week i sent the faulty item back I am still waiting to refund***

Locked up my Xbox
Seemed fine out of the box, then stopped being recognized. Also, once issues began, I wasn’t able to launch games on my INTERNAL drive, AND it cause weird lagging of both my Xbox’s menus, and oddly enough, my controller inputs.I went through the whole customer service, which was admittedly nice and friendly, and got a used replacement. Same issues.Go with another brand.

Energiespareinstellungen an PS4 beachten!!!!
Also Festplatte ist aktuell seit 2 Wochen in Betrieb. Übertragungsrate von meiner alten PS4 auf die Festplatte war sehr gut (hab mir eine PS4 Pro geholt und hatte davor eine 3TB Festplatte verbaut). Preis fand ich auch Akzeptabel.Und nun zu den schlechten Bewertungen vor mir die sagen die Festplatte geht nach maximal paar Monaten kaputt, man muss halt unbedingt daran denken unter Energiespareinstellungen die Option unter „Im Ruhemodus verfügbare Optionen“ -> „USB Ports mit Strom versorgen“ auf „dauerhaft“ zu stellen oder die PS immer nur ausschalten und NIEMALS in den Ruhe Modus setzen, denn wählt man bei der Stromversorgung im Ruhemodus „Nie“ oder „3 Stunden“ an ist ja kalt damit die Externe Festplatte bald das zeitliche segnet wenn man Die PS in den Ruhemodus versetzt…..

Génial. Installation hyper rapide. Disque reconnu par la console tout de suite. Aucune perte en fluidité. Bien faire attention aux instructions de la console pour formater le disque et le déclarer mais ça prend 3 minutes. Suis enchanté

Wenn die interen Festplatte mal zu klein werden sollte…
…kann ich jedem nur empfehlen diese Festplatte als externe an die PS4 anzuhängen. Da ich ohnehin bereits eine 2TB Festplatte in meiner PS4 eingebaut habe und mich damals eben für diese 2TB und keine größere Platte entschieden habe, dachte ich mir hol dir doch die 4TB externe von SEAGATE.Die Festplatte wird klarerweise problemlos von der Playstation 4 erkannt und bietet schlussendlich 3,68TB Platz. Ich habe diverse kleinere und auch manche PS Plus Spiele bzw. Spiele die ich einfach seltener oder gar nicht mehr spiele auf diese Platte verschoben, so dass die interne HDD mehr Speicher für künftige Spiele hat. Desweiteren befindet sich im Lieferumfang auch ein entsprechendes Kabel.

Suelo jugar poco a la consola (en mi caso xbox one S) porque tengo pocos ratos libres, lo compré en Octubre de 2017 y a día de hoy Mayo del 2018 el disco duro ha palmado, solo y sin hacerle nada de repente la consola ha dejado de detectarlo, me ha sacado de un juego en medio de la partida y no lo reconoce ni el Windows. Lo he desmontado porque espero que sea fallo de la conexión de la carcasa pero para mi sorpresa, he visto al desmontarlo y conectarlo que el circuito de la conexión se ha quemado. Resumiendo cuentas mucha marca pero los componentes no son ni de los chinos. En fin una decepción, me compré el de 4tb y me costó una pasta cuando lo compré para ahora tener que andar buscando carcasas externas y a probar suerte. He entrado en la web de la marca seagate y solamente leyendo los requisitos para la garantía de un producto dan ganas de echarse a reír, te hacen pagar hasta los portes, en fin, mala marca, mal servicio y componentes malísimos. Tengo varios discos duros de otras marcas como western, toshiba o samsung y 0 problemas. No lo recomiendo ni de oferta.Salu2.Alex.
